Lunacon Gaming in 2016

Gaming at Lunacon is better than ever. We have over 200 games from large and small companies covering all genres. From horror to humor, sci-fi to simulation we have games for every taste. Learn a new game at one of our scheduled demos, win prizes, or grab some friends and check out a game from our huge library. We even have plenty of family friendly games for the younger fan.  We’re always open, so come in and check out a board game, card game, or RPG. For more information write gaming@2016.lunacon.org or like Lunacon Gaming on Facebook.

New Games!

Lunacon is pleased to announce that gaming is receiving support from well-known publishers including Looney Labs, Minion Games, Days of Wonder, Rio Grande, and Steve Jackson games. We will be bringing you new hit games like Five Tribes, Manhattan Project, Dead of Winter, Codenames, and Batman Fluxx. We are also expanding our library of favorites with games including Splendor and Shadows over Camelot.

Prizes!

What’s better than playing a great game? Playing a great game and winning an awesome prize. One featured event will be a “Play to Win” tournament of The Manhattan Project, a strategic game of Cold War brinksmanship. The “Men in Black”  will be in attendance, giving out prizes at Steve Jackson Games events. Magic the Gathering fans will be able to test their skill in a full set of tournaments including draft  and constructed deck events.

Returning Favorites!

Some games have become Lunacon tradition, and they are returning in full force. If you’ve been missing the insanity of Ninja Burger, or the horror of all night Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow we’ve got you covered. We also have a large selection of gamer favorites like Settlers of Catan, 7 Wonders, and Carcassone.

Honoring a Well-Loved Author

We all are in mourning for the loss of Terry Prachett last year. He is a well-known author for his Discworld books as well as the Long Earth series. In a toast to his honor, come play The Witches, Ankh-Morpork or Guards, Guards on Saturday afternoon.
